Many beloved seasonal classics use the phrase “pumpkin spice” without using any actual pumpkin. Instead, they rely on clove-heavy spice blends to evoke that “festive” flavor.

Our Pumpkin Spice Blondie gives real, single-ingredient pumpkin puree it's moment to shine in the (dappled autumn) sun!

Just 7 simple ingredients

Our almonds are roasted to deepen their nutty flavor before having their skins removed. Removing the skin before grinding makes for a less grainy consistency that better mimics the feel of all purpose flour - the holy grail of baking. 

Our unrefined organic coconut sugar is made by dehydrating the sap of coconut palm flowers. This raw form of sugar has a lower glycemic index than table sugar and common "low sugar" sweeteners, like monk fruit and stevia.

Our eggs come from pasture-raised chickens. Unlike cage-free chickens (who likely never leave a barn) or free-range chickens (who are legally entitled to just 2 square feet of outdoor space), pasture raised chickens enjoy at least 108 square feet of outdoor space per chicken. The result? A happy chick who produces a stellar egg. 

Our pumpkin puree is made from peak-harvest Non-GMO Golden Delicious pumpkins that yield a firm-but-fine-grained flesh. The result is a fiery red-orange puree that folds beautifully into our thick blondie batter.

Our 100% pure avocado oil is a best-in-class super fat that packs loads of antioxidants, nutrients, healthy omega 3s, and oleic acid; and contributes to better absorption of other key minerals. 

Our pure vanilla extract is sourced from Madagascar, where vanilla flowers must be pollinated by hand (resulting in a much higher price!). We chose liquid extract over ground seeds because it creates a moister texture.

Our fresh-ground pumpkin pie spice blend is anchored by high quality cinnamon and a finely calibrated mix of zingy ginger, earthy nutmeg and a hint of aromatic clove. The result is a festive flavor profile with subtle yet deep aromatic profile.

Our blondies are just like homemade treats - moist, fresh, and won't stay good forever. We highly recommend refrigerating or freezing your blondies when they arrive to extend the shelf life by 6-12 months (more on that in the below FAQ!).

We recommend storing your blondies in the fridge or freezer. To reheat, pop in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.

Because we don't use any preservatives or stabilizers, our shelf life is comparable to homemade treats vs. the treats you find in the center aisle of the store. As a result, storing dalci in your fridge or freezer significantly extends the shelf life.

If stored in the freezer, dalci will stay good for 365 days.

If stored in the fridge, dalci will stay good for 180 days.

If stored at room temperature, dalci will stay good for 2 weeks.

Yes! dalci is made with a small amount of unrefined organic coconut sugar. We use between 9-10 grams of added sugar per brownie or blondie.

Perhaps equally important as the amount is the form of sugar we use - we only use unrefined organic coconut sugar. Using the rawest, most natural form of a sugar means your body is able to better recognize it when it's introduced to the digestive tract. This leads to better absorption, digestion, and satisfaction signaling to the brain.

No, dalci is not vegan - we use eggs!

What does “clean label” even mean?

"Clean label" is the buzzword du jour. But the term itself is unregulated, allowing lots of brands to effectively "clean-wash" junk ingredients.
