Keeping to your health-conscious eating habits and indulging your sweet tooth are not mutually exclusive. At dalci, we understand the struggle of choosing between the high-sugar, high-carb, and processed dessert options on the market today and wanting something more. We know that feeling because the search for a healthy, tasty, and ready-made dessert is our search, it is what led our founder to create our original dark chocolate brownie.
Our thoughtfully crafted and highly tested recipes call for using high-quality (organic, non-GMO, and preservative-free) and gut-friendly ingredients in our desserts. For starters, each baked good is gluten, grain, soy, and refined sugar-free to help with digestion. The use of avocado oil, coconut sugar, and almond flour has been carefully considered for their number of gut-health benefits and also rigorously taste-tested—because ultimately, these treats have to be delicious to work. With flavors like rich dark chocolate, sweet and savory almond butter dark chocolate, apple spice, and tart lemon coconut it is fair to say the latter is also true.
Avocado Oil lowers cholesterol, is low in saturated fat, rich in oleic acid, and using it in our recipes means avoiding processed fats.
Coconut Sugar is a natural sugar with probiotic traits that allows us to avoid using processed sugar and sugar substitutes and helps foster better gut health.
Almond Flour is high in fiber, easy-to-digest, and helps to let you savor your food, free of the fear of bloating or gut irritation.
Fair Trade Cocoa and Dark Chocolate are ethically produced, both limiting the use of pesticides and chemicals and positively impacting the entire supply chain.
Non-GMO and Organic Fruits like apples, coconuts, lemons, and spices include no additives or hormones and limit gut irritation.
Organic and Pastured Eggs because they are higher in vitamins A and E, and omega-3s, as well as lower in cholesterol and saturated fat.

The main benefit of this holistic gut-healthy lifestyle is that you receive the nutrients you need and give your gut a break from working to digest harsh ingredients. But therein lies the question: When you are a health-conscious individual, what happens when you crave a sweet mid-afternoon snack or want to indulge a bit on dessert? That is where dalci was born. Our philosophy promotes holistic eating habits and enables a gut-healthy indulgence when the mood strikes: during an afternoon break at work; relaxing on the couch on the weekend; or after dinner when you need a sweet tooth fix. We absolutely get those cravings and we want to help limit the guilty-pleasure aspect to your desserts. Our first product is a ready-made packaged brownie that is made thoughtfully, with ingredients that are gentle on the gut and nutritious.
